Fruit Ambrosia


My aunt used to make this when I was a kid, and I always loved it. These days, I've adapted it to be more health conscious! Ha! Love it on these hot summer days. Good way to get your kids to eat fruit if they don't normally. And you could always use fresh fruit instead of canned.

Ingredients:
1 can (20oz) Pineapple chunks
1 can (11oz) Mandarin orange segments (I use 2 cans of these!)
1 Banana, peeled and sliced
1 1/ cups seedless Grapes
1 cup miniature Marshmallows
1/2 cup flaked Coconut
1/4 cup chopped Almonds
8 oz Vanilla Yogurt (I also add 8oz of Cool Whip here)
5 Maraschino cherries, halved

Directions:
Drain pineapple and oranges. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, then fold in yogurt/Cool Whip.
Chill & serve. Makes 4-6 servings.
