Great for ribs and chicken at your next barbeque! And who doesn't love Dr. Pepper?!
Ingredients:
1 can (12oz) Dr. Pepper
1 cup crushed Tomatoes
1/4 cup packed Brown Sugar
2 tblsp spicy brown Mustard
1 tblsp Orange juice
1 tblsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Garlic clove, minced
1/4 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Pepper
In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 30-35 mins or until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally. Refrigerate if any leftovers! Makes 1 cup.
Per 2 tblsp serving: 60 calories, trace fat, 0 chol., 193mg sodium, 15g fiber, 1g protein.
